Star is a purpose-made community narrowboat, sleeping eleven people plus steerer. With a fully fitted-kitchen, full-sized gas cooker, hot and cold-running water and fridge, she is amply kitted out for a long cruise.
At the back of the boat is the steerer’s cabin, which has storage space under the bunk and a gas-hob and a sink.
Moving forward is one of two toilets on board.
Moving on, there is the 4-5 berth cabin. The fifth bunk runs across the boat, so is only suitable for younger passengers. The upper bunks have guards to help prevent sleeping passengers from falling out! The lower bunks have storage underneath.
Moving forward is the galley area, which has a fully-fitted kitchen, full-size gas cooker, hot and cold running water, and fridge. Star’s kitchen has plenty of worktop space as well, and comes fully equipped with pots, pans and other cooking utensils, as well as plates, mugs and cutlery.
Past the galley is the saloon area, which has seating along the outside, with room for the table in the middle. The two seats convert to bunks and have storage underneath.
Finally, the front of the boat has another four-berth cabin, with a step up to the doors at the front. Lower bunks have storage space underneath.
